Limited offer Mistletoe (Viscum album) seeds
Mistletoe (Viscum album) seeds
All you need to try and grow this festive plant is a host fruit tree (apple being about the best) and patience.
If you have tried to grow mistletoe before and failed the main reason may be that the berries or seeds were imported and not native British Mistletoe.
Most imported Mistletoe has been treated to keep it looking fresh for the long journey.
The seeds must be very fresh and still be in their berry to get a greater germination rate.
The parent plant is grown in apple trees so this would be advisable for increased success.
The host tree is best being an old mature tree as mistletoe is semi parasitic.
I have devised a growing guide which has proved to be successful in the past.
This guide is listed in our growing guides section.
They can take months to germinate and then grow very slow for the first year or so.
Each pack will contain 10 seeds in berries.
Please note, we only supply fresh seeds from January - April. Orders after april will be sent January.
