Sarracenia flava is one of the hardiest of the species and is best grown outside or planted in an outside bog garden.
This plant is from seeds collected at Green Swamp in North Carolina.
The plant on offer is size small with last seasons summer traps being over 10inch.
I will keep last years growth on the plant but remove any old growth.
This years pitchers will be left on the plant.
The plant will be sent potted in live sphagnum moss.
Sarracenias do like to be potted permanently in sphagnum moss peat/perlite.
