A recently introduced plant, this compact dwarf pampas grass is a very easy grower which tolerates a wide variety of soil conditions.

The thin leaves are streaked green and golden yellow which stay true to form all year round.
Ideal for tubs and smaller gardens where the typical form is just to big.
This variety only grows to 1-2 feet (30-60cm) with the plume reaching 3-4 ft (90-120cm) above the leaves.

This is the first and only true dwarf pampas grass which retains its colour all year round.
A hard grown clump is supplied.
If container grown it would be in about a 9cm pot.
To keep the plant true to form it is only available from division.
As with most grasses including pampas, the centre of the plant can become hollow, as the new growth forms around the outside of the previous years growth.
The best way to avoid this is to divide the plant every few years and replant. The new clumps will soon form a spectacular display.
The plant division is from a mature flowering size plant (30-60cm)
